BPSC’s Success with CEFE in Viet Nam (1997-2001)
- In five years, BPSC has:
- Provided Training and Complementary Services in more than 30 province
- Delivered more than 150 courses
- Trained more than 4,000 trainees in rural and urban areas
- Trained more than 100 small business counselors
- Established a network of more than 100 CEFE trainers all over Viet Nam
- Launched 30 “CEFE Clubs”, linking entrepreneurs with each other

Impact of CEFE Training Program Our training is already tested and brings proven effective results. After completing our short courses:
- More than 95% of participants were able to write their own complete business plans
- More than 43% of potential entrepreneurs started their own businesses
- Nearly 4 jobs were created per participant
- More than 40% of participants with existing businesses were able to grow their businesses and increase their earnings
- 64% increased sales
- 49% increased hiring and profits

The Participants and Target Beneficiaries of BPSC
BPSC provides its training both to staff of institutions and to different target beneficiary groups:
- NGO and organization staff
- Individuals seeking to improve their income generating activities
- Farmers, fishermen, vendors
- Potential entrepreneurs:
- Women, handicraft producers, youth
- Family and household enterprises and co-operatives
- Existing Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises seeking help in:
- Management, Environmental protection, and Business information
- We even offer courses for special target groups such as illiterate learners.

Examples of BPSC Projects
- BPSC has trained more than 800 rural and urban poor (mainly women) for Malteser Hilfsdienst and Women Union in Quang Nam and Da Nang Provinces.
- BPSC has provided training services to partner staff and target groups of DED and DEG (Germany).
- BPSC has training more than 100 CEFE trainers coming from more than 12 NGO's and provincial support centers.
- More than 200 business starters, existing entrepreneurs. small Business Counselors were trained for SNV (Netherlands Development Organization) in Hanoi, Thai Nguyen, Ninh Binh, Quang Tri, Quang Binh.
- BPSC provides training services to CDG (Germany): Recource management, product development and marketing management for SME.
